Reliability Engineer – Clinton

ADM Polymer Company is seeking a Reliability Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the new PHA Biodegradable Plastics plant which is currently under construction in Clinton Iowa. In this position you will:

?Work with maintenance superintendent to develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations including vibration analysis, infrared monitoring and oil analysis, in order to maintain reliability of equipment.
?Compile reports and recommend corrective measures to acceptable standards.
?Provide plant engineering with technical support on reliability issues.
?Develop track and maintain reliability database and documentation.
?Lead root cause failure analysis and reliability maintenance studies to assist in prevention maintenance.
?Train maintenance personnel on various aspect of predictive maintenance.

Education:

?Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Required Skills and Experience:

?5+ years engineering experience.
?Previous experience with rotating equipment, seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers and material handling equipment.
?Previous experience in vibration analysis and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
?Experience working with flow charts and analytical data.
?Exceptional safety attitude with a proven history of involvement and results in a safety program.
?Physically capable of walking long distances, standing for long periods, stooping, bending, lifting fifty pounds occasionally, and climbing stairs and ladders.
?Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces as well as outside in extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, wind, dust, etc?)
